Dancer suing pop sensation Britney Spears for breaking her nose

Backup dancer Dawn Noel is getting her fifteen minutes of fame thanks to failed doctor bills promised by Ms. Britney Spears. Noel busted her nose during dance rehearsal for a music video shoot last August.

According to the filed lawsuit, rehearsal was held at a studio in Woodland Hills on August 19 where Noel and other dancers practiced until Spears arrived. The battery and negligence suit alleges that Spears arrived “in a disheveled and confused state.” She apparently struggled to nail the simplest dances moves and continued to struggle on the practice stage as well.

Spears allegedly twirled “unbalanced” with hands and arms extended when she struck Noel in the face cracking her nose. The suit claims the cracking sound resonated throughout the room. A disheveled Spears simply got right back up and said, “I’m sorry,” before immediately shifting focus to rehearsal.

Noel states she lasted 30 minutes before heading to a doctor where she learned she needed surgery to repair and re-set the nasal bone fracture. The lawsuit states that the Spears' camp has unfulfilled their promise to cover these medical bills.

Noel’s attorney Sark Ohanian claimes, “She’s been very patient and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just do the right thing.” Noel has filed a suit against Spears for battery and negligence and severe physical and emotional damages; she is demanding a jury trial.

If the judge upholds the lawsuit, detailed medical history investigations will follow. Due to the accident, Ohanian’s client is currently suffering from breathing and sinus disorders. Ohanian reveals, “she isn’t looking to get rich of this.”

Noel’s dance resume consists of TV performances with Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and a Ricky Martin music video.

Maybe after this incident Britney will stop singing “Hit Me Baby One More Time.”

The music video for her single “Work Bitch” was released in October 2013.
