Dana White knows Fedor isn't number 1 and Brock is Invincible

The UFC's Dana White had an interesting interview with Canada’s MMA Connected to discuss just about everything including.

Dana on the UFC’s plans for future venues:
“We’re going everywhere. We got Vancouver done, and we are coming. When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. We’re mapping out next year right now. Figuring out the dates, we’re gonna go to a lot of new places. People always talk about how big this thing is. We haven’t even scratched the surface yet.” So does that mean they will go to New York City? Nah, NYC does not like violence, it is a safe, clean, nice little city that simply can not condone the violence of MMA. It would interfere with the 12 murders that happen each week.

Dana on Penn vs. Sanchez:
“The next fight at 155 is Penn vs. Sanchez. There’s not much to say about BJ, he’s one of the greatest of all-time, but Diegois a beast at 155. Diego will set a great pace for this fight, he’s a big 155-pounder.” Unfortunately in an effort to gain interest for this fight, Dana forgot to mention BJ will probably knock Sanchez out in the first round, so don't buy a PPV ticket.

White on his beef with EA Sports:
“They wanted nothing to do with this, they said it wasn’t a sport. Then we do the game with THQ, it takes off, and now they wanna jump on the bandwagon for money! They’re not my kind of people.” My, how cold, how can Dana hold a grudge. Wait I know, if someone doesn't kiss is a.. he never forgets, throws them out of the UFC (ie Tito Ortiz) and then when the money is right lets them back in Same thing will happen with EA Sports, when they offer enough money, he will suddenly love them again.

DW on Fedor vs. Rogers:
“No disrespect to Rogers, I give him his props, he just knocked out Arlovski, but he’s not one of the top heavyweights in the world, he’s just not.” Well Dana finally got one right. Fedor is Not one of the top heavyweights MMA fighters in the World, despite the protestation of my many readers who worship the ground he eats on. The Invincible Brock Lesnar will crush him, like any other mere mortal man. 

Dana on his beef with Strikeforce/Showtime:
“My beef was never with Strikeforce. They’re a small regional show, but these Showtime guys are trying to push it. They’re cocky. They suck in boxing, HBO has been kicking their ass for years. But now they’re MMA geniuses? Now they’re gonna get their ass kicked by me.” Dana seems to forget that HBO is also trying to push the UFC and any other company that actually is capable of hiring some MMA fighters. Dana should try to be nicer to HBO and Showtime and he will find a much larger built in audience. He thinks Strikeforce has NO money and NO fighters.

White on Lesnar vs. Carwin:
“We think it’s a good fight. Lesnar wanted to fight sooner than we thought he would. Carwin’s big, he has knockout power, and he has great wrestling. It’s a great match up.” Dana once again is trying to build hype and PPV, when he knows full well Carwin won't last 2 rounds once the Mighty Brock rains the "Thunder Hammer's" down on him.

Dana on his plans for Anderson Silva:
“We have to figure out the whole Anderson Silvapuzzle. After that last fight, does anyone not wanna see him stay at 205 and make a run at Machida? It’s not about them being friends and having to fight each other. It’s about determining who the best is. I’m confident I can make that fight happen.” So that means that as much as Silva would like to hide from Machinda, Dana will offer him enough money to get his butt kicked.

Dana on his plans for GSP:
“I’m hoping that GSP will be healed, trained, and ready to fight in February.” Healed, as in "ungreased" or healed as in "saved from BJ Penn and Matt Hughes rematches"? Not sure either of those healing plans on in GSP future. Probably just a healing for a chump.

White on Big John McCarthy:
“It’s not that I dislike John McCarthy. He made a decision not to referee anymore. If you’re in the referee business for the money, you’re in the wrong business.”

DW on Rampage JacksonBA Baracus:
“I love the idea of him being BA Baracus, when he’s not fighting! He’d make a great BA Baracus, but I just want him to be Rampage Jackson. He should be focusing on fighting. Fighters have a small window to make money. He’s in a great position right now, people love him, he’s great, and he should take advantage of this time.” Could not agree more, especially since for the next 60 days you will see TUF 10 build to a boil the pending fight against Evans, that will never happen since Mr. T doesn't want to mess his Mohawk up.
