Dan Marino admits affair with Donna Savaterre resulted in love child

Former professional football player Dan Marino admits he cheated on his wife and fathered a child out of wedlock as per reports from The Washington Post on Jan. 31. Marino (51) admits his affair was with former production assistant Donna Savaterre in 2005 and that it resulted in a love child together - their daughter Chloe.

Marino has been married to his wife Claire Marino for almost 30 years. The two married in 1985 and shared 6 children from their life together.

A source in the NY post comments: “They had an affair, and she had a baby,” said a source. “Everything was on the down-low and secretive.”

The Miami Dolphin’s Hall of Fame quarterback released a statement to the NY post:

“This is a personal and private matter,”

“I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.”

“My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together,” Marino said, “and we continue to be a strong and loving family.”

So far, Dan and Claire have stated their marriage has not suffered from the affair. Marino is scheduled to work during the Super Bowl XLVII game as a broadcaster.

Donna Savaterre is currently married to Nahill Younis whom she met while traveling in the Bahamas in 2009.
