Ms. Stych has made a complaint and allegation against the victim in her case involving her Violation of a Protective Order.
As such, those allegations are being investigated by our agency.
Connecticut news station WTNH reported on Monday that former WWE Diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch had filed charges against former fiance Damien Darling after their latest domestic incident found Sytch arrested for the sixth time over violation of a restraining order.
Reports from WTNH as well as many other news media outlets proclaim that Sytch decided to press charges against Darling after she was arrested because she was suffering from two broken ribs as well as many cuts and bruises.
Darling took to social media site Facebook and said "Out of respect I wasn't going to post or comment in regard to what has happened, but I refuse to allow someone to make false accusations via media outlets. I went to the Branford Police Department to confirm, there is NO assault charge filed against me AND there are NO "broken ribs."
Darling and Sytch have had a tumultuous relationship with a number of violent episodes including Sytch being charged with domestic violence involving choking. Sytch is facing numerous felony and misdemeanor charges related to her involvement with Darling. Earlier in January Sytch finished her second stint in rehab for alcohol addiction and mental health issues.
Shortly after completing rehab Sytch announced she and Darling were engaged to be married and that they would be leaving the wrestling business over the course of this year. Darling has removed all references to being in a relationship or engaged to Sytch from his Facebook profile.
Branford, Con. police were contacted for comment regarding Darling's claims and the latest arrest of Sytch but have yet to respond.
(UPDATE: Branford Police contacted Dr. Jerry Wiseman this afternoon and acknowledged that "Ms. Stych has made a complaint and allegation against the victim in her case involving her Violation of a Protective Order. As such, those allegations are being investigated by our agency."
