The highly-anticipated ‘Glee’ Valentine’s Day themed episode 'Heart' airs tonight, on Valentine’s Day proper, February 14th (in Flint on WSMH FOX66). ‘Glee Project’ Season 1 co-winner Samuel Larsen makes his ‘Glee’ debut tonight as Joe Hart. Current ‘Glee’ cast member and Larsen’s ‘Glee Project’ co-winner Damian McGinty made his debut on the show in 'Pot O' Gold' last November as foreign exchange student Rory Flanagan. A new People’s Choice Fan Poll that was created on February 12th asks the following question:
‘Glee Project winner Samuel Larsen will make his debut this week on Glee's Valentine episode 'Heart'. Which other Glee Project Season 1 winner or finalist is your favorite?’
The choices are: Damian McGinty, Lindsay Pearce, Hannah Mclalwain, Cameron Mitchell and Alex Newell.
At the time of this printing (7:32 PM EST) on February 14th, Damian McGinty is leading the poll with 56% of the vote. McGinty’s roommate and professed best friend Cameron Mitchell is in second place with 25%.

Lindsay Pearce 10%
Alex Newell 5%
Hannah Mclalwain 2%
Pearce and Newell also won a 2 episode arc each. Pearce has already appeared as Harmony in ‘Glee’s’ 3rd season premiere and again in ‘Hold on to Sixteen’. Newell has yet to appear.
As previously reported, Mitchell voluntarily left ‘The Glee Project’ competition, which inadvertently allowed McGinty to stay and he eventually won. Mitchell, however, won ‘The Glee Project’ fan favorite prize and has garnered a huge fan base, with over 247,000 Twitter followers.
Flint area Gleek and ‘Glee Project’ fan Penny Davis of Flint is hoping Rory will do more speaking parts and possibly stay on ‘Glee’ permanently. She offered this comment today, February 14th:
‘Damian is just so cute and has so much charisma. I just love his accent and I love to hear him sing – but, I’d really like to see him act more and get a juicy scene or two. With everyone graduating soon, it would be really great to see Damian stay on permanently. I can’t wait to see him and Samuel tonight on the Valentine’s episode. I’m sure Samuel is going to be awesome – but Damian, hands down, is my favorite ‘Glee Project’ winner.
