These two dogs were taken to Solano County Animal Care Services after a murder-suicide which claimed the life of their owner, Jerrica Chou.
According to CBS San Francisco “Police have identified a couple who died in an apparent murder-suicide in Vacaville on Tuesday as 47-year-old Erik Mesick and 40-year-old Jerrica Chou. Police believe Mesick, a Vacaville resident, shot Chou in the head with a gun he had purchased a few days earlier, then shot and killed himself.”
These two dogs are beloved family pets who lived in the home with three small children. They “are very socialized, now just a bit stressed from being at the shelter.”
Oreo is a lovely female dalmation and the other boy is a beautiful blue pit bull. No one bothered to find out his name.
Please contact the shelter at (707)784-1356 to help with these two dogs. Please consider a donation to get them into boarding. Please help these two live out their lives so there will be no other victims in this tragic and horrible situation.
