Karen Eubank received the 2012 National Real Estate Staging Association’s (RESA) Award for Chapter President of the Year at the RESA International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. RESA is a member governed trade association for home stagers. Eubank was recognized for her outstanding efforts and contributions to the home staging industry. This is Eubank’s second year serving as RESA Dallas’s local chapter President. She is the owner of Eubank Staging, a home staging company located in Dallas, Texas, a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and a member of the MetroTex Leadership Academy 21.
"It has been a mission of mine as the Dallas Chapter President, to build visibility and credibility for RESA,” Eubank said. “Through the hard work of our board over the past year Realtors are beginning to recognize RESA as a trade association that is organized like their own, with the same values and ethics. Our area Realtors understand they can count on RESA members as a professional resource for their staging needs."
Eubank’s determined efforts were instrumental in facilitating the acceptance of the RESA Realtors Guide to Real Estate Staging class offered by the MetroTex Association of Realtors, the largest Realtor association in North Texas. This is the first RESA class to be accepted by any Realtor association in America. Eubank worked closely with RESA CEO Shell Brodnax and MetroTex’s Professional Development Director, Annette Carvalho, to provide a class that will furnish direction and education in staging for area Realtors.
Eubank created lifestyle environments and designed sets for commercial photographers as a photography stylist for twenty years prior to embarking on a staging and design career. Her work has been published in the pages of national magazines and catalogs. Currently, in addition to running her own real estate home staging and design company, Eubank Staging, Karen is a professional writer specializing in copywriting and features on the home, design, photography and real estate industries as well as a contributor to the popular real estate blog Candy’s Dirt.
