"Dallas" is currently airing on Channel 26 in Tempe. On Tuesday, March 5, Spoiler TV shared the first sneak peek released for the next episode, "Dallas" episode 2.08 titled "J.R.'s Masterpiece." If you missed any of the previously released photos or spoilers for this series, check out the related topics link for season two on the sidebar for more news.
The last episode featuring Larry Hagman aired on Monday night, and it had a cliffhanger. J.R. Ewing told his son that he had a plan, and those words were some of the final words he said to his son before John Ross heard gun shots. The sneak peek shows Bobby confronting John Ross about what he heard. Bobby clearly thinks this is some scheme his brother has cooked up. However, a funeral will bring back some past favorites to the series instead.
TV Line shared new spoilers about the big episode on Tuesday as well. The site revealed the following:
"[When] the specialized opening credits/theme starts, the back-to-back eulogies from Sue Ellen and Bobby finish — meaning, this send-off is going to leave longtime Dallas fans a blubbering mess. In addition to a flurry of returning faces (from the instantly recognizable to 'Oh yeah, her'), framed 'classic' J.R. photos are sprinkled throughout, to tug further on the nostalgic heartstrings. As for the 'Who Shot J.R.?' murder mystery redux: It starts off looking rather skimpy — the only wrinkle is in what country J.R.’s body was actually found — until a final scene that in a rat-a-tat-tat of reveals casts a shadow on multiple suspects, including perhaps the very last person you’d think of."
Larry Hagman died during the filming of season two, and the episodes up to this point were shot before his death. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
OMG I didn't expect him to go that way! RIP JR (and the legend that is Larry Hagman) #DallasTNT
