New York Fashion Week is one of the many highlighted occasions for the fashion industry. With showcased designer collections occurring twice a year in both February and September, New York Fashion Week has become the "it" event for all who aspire to be fashionably in tune. From exclusive parties to unrevealed couture collections, New York Fashion Week is indisputably the Super Bowl of all fashion events.
While some Dallas fashionistas will have the privilege to attend the February 2013 Fashion Week, others could only dream of being totally immersed with designer collections and labels for an entire week--it is every fashion enthusiasts' ultimate dream.
"The Tents" as the term is coined, references the large white canopy tents that are constructed to house the numerous fashion shows during New York Fashion Week. They have been spotlighted on "Sex and the City" and also idealized in every fashion and style magazine. Director James Belzer and cinematographer Marcus K. Jones recognized the significance of these tents and everything they represent by creating a highly acclaimed documentary focused around the birth and continuing cycle of New York Fashion Week.
Front House Management is inviting all fashionistas and fashion industry insiders to celebrate the upcoming Fashion Week by watching "The Tents" documentary at the Magnolia Theater on January 31, 2013. Light bites and cocktails will precede the film along with a special guest appearance by the director himself. One lucky winner will win a roundtrip ticket to New York to attend next season's Fashion Week along with hotel accomodations and access to a runway show.
