Dallas New Year's Eve forecast

See also

Update: Dallas will ring in 2014 with a seasonably cold New Year’s Eve and a mild first day of 2014.

Warmer air will be flowing through north Texas with southerly breezes on Tuesday, and this should boost highs for New Year’s Eve day well into the 50s. South to southwesterly wind continues New Year’s Eve; it will be pleasantly cool for winter party wear with midnight temperatures in the low to mid 40s.

New Year’s Day should be quite mild with highs around 60. Nice!

Conditions should be dry both Tuesday and Wednesday…so safe weather is on tap for the close of 2013 and the end of 2014.

Wishing you a joyous and safe beginning to the New Year!
