The Kyle Petty Charity Ride will be rounding out its national fundraising tour at Texas Motor Speedway next to the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champion's Circle on May 4, 2012. Only guests of the hotel will be allowed access to the event, which will include guest riders, such as Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker and Texas Motor Speedway president and general manager Eddie Gossage.

The event started in 1995 in honor of Kyle Petty's son, Adam, and has since raise more than $14 million for Victory Junction -- a charity that treats chilren with chronic illnesses to the excitement of camp. More than 14,000 children have participated in Victory Junction's camps since the camp opened in 2004. No child pays to go to the camps, as all costs are covered by generous donations and fundraisers, such as the Kyle Petty Charity Ride.

More than 175 riders will participate in this year's ride, which starts in Napa on April 28. If you would like to be present for the event, you can reserve a package or book a room at the Marriott Hotel and Golf Club's website. While you are there, be sure to check out the hotel's newly renovated rooms and stunning on site 18-hole, par 72 golf course.

You can donate to the Kyle Petty Charity Ride at the charity's website, or text "RIDE" to 27722 to make a $10 donation.
