Dallas County Sheriff's Department seeks hit-and-run driver that killed 6-year-old Alaiza Salazar

Dallas News is reporting that the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public to help locate a pickup truck driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 6-year-old Alaiza Salazar last week.

They are looking for a 1992 red Chevrolet pickup with Texas license plate 92CFB5. The truck may be missing the front grille or have severe front-end damage.

Salazar was traveling with her mother on an Interstate 30 service road near the 1500 block of North Cockrell Hill Road when the pickup collided hit their SUV around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the sheriff's department at 214-589-2315 or 214-749-8641.
