Dallas Animal Services Pet of The Week is Quesadilla, a 1-1/2 year old brown tabby cat who was picked up as a stray by Dallas Animal Services. He is very affectionate and loves to talk to visitors. He's been at the shelter since February 16th, so that makes him a VSP pet.
Dallas Animal Services took in over 7,700 lost and stray cats during the last fiscal year and only a tiny fraction of those found new homes. Some were transferred to local rescue groups, and a few were returned to their owners. But even the big, new, state-of-the-art Dallas shelter can't hold them all indefinitely, so Quesadilla, Florida, Quiche, Rabi and Thelma have been moved to the VSP list and will be out of time if not adopted in the next two weeks.
You can help save their lives by just sharing this article via email, tweeting it, and posting it on Facebook!

Westmoreland (I-30 at Westmoreland) Tuesday – Saturday 10:00am - 5:30pm, and Sunday 12:00pm - 5:00pm. or find out more by calling the Adoption Desk at 214-671-0249 or emailing Teresa or Jennifer.
