Dale Robertson died

Dale Robertson, an actor and horseman, died on Feb. 27. According to a report by The New York Times on Feb. 27, Dale Robertson passed away in San Diego at the age of 89.

Dale Robertson was from Harrah, Okla. He began acting in the 1940s. He appeared in over 60 movies and 430 television episodes. He had a role in the movie “Sitting Bull” and appeared in episodes of both “Dynasty” and “Dallas.”

The Oklahoma native was not shy about sharing how he wanted to get out of show business. His dream was to be a rancher. Dale Robertson said that movies had “gotten to sexy for his tastes” and had grown tired of “having to hold his stomach in.” He eventually left Hollywood. Dale Roberts left Hollywood and bought a ranch in Yukon, part of the Greater Oklahoma City Metro area.

The John Wayne fan is survived by his wife, Susan Robertson, and two daughters, Rochelle Robertson and Rebel Lee. He also had a granddaughter.

At the time of publication, no information about a memorial was available. It is also unknown if Dale Robertson will be laid to rest in California or Oklahoma.
