Daily thought: vision

The phrase, "where do you see yourself in 5 years" seems so rhetorical but one should really analyze and address this question.

We learn to "get by" and/or adapt and often find ourselves in the routines that work best for us whether they are good or bad.

We really should take time out, even if just for 60 seconds, to picture ourselves doing something completely different than what we are currently doing.

However, if we have a really good feeling about what we are doing and feel that we will surely want to be doing it in 5 years then, picture doing it in a completely different setting- the best setting we can imagine.

Vision is so important to everyday life. In fact, many successful people practice making what they call a "vision board."

Vision boards are simple and easy to make. You simply take some type of cardboard or construction paper and you cut out various pictures from magazines etc. and you create the life you vision for yourself.

In a vision board, you may put your idea car, idea home or idea environment. The object of a vision board is to create a visual of you at your best. You can use words too.

Taking time out to picture yourself at your best sends messages to your subconscious. In time, your subconscious will began to act upon lifestyle changes that compliment what you vision.

Many very successful people will admit that they just, "saw their self" doing or living better.

Moreover, many of the hand "symbols" that spin big controversy when artist and actors are shown with their hands positioned in such a way are really some variation or version of the idea, "picture this," as many artist continue to use visions to create their life.

Artist often take a mental picture of themselves within the vision they are in as a good way to assure recreation of that scene again in real life. While there are some groups and/or clubs who utilize the "picture-it" symbol, also known as the miracle all seeing eye, they are all variations of the idea that vision is key not some form of devil worship.

Naturally, many religious groups associate any form of practice outside of that which a spiritual leader advises as some creepy form of devil association. To that I merely say one should always be willing to reflect on the "pay-off" to all parties involved in any situation. If we all thought outside the box, we might not be easily packaged and sold ideas.

Seeing is believing so be careful what you "picture." Here is a daily thought you may find extremely interesting if you find this daily thought interesting: Daily thought: fluoride and the pineal gland

Picture you at your best. Take time to see it. It may be very, very hard, at first. In fact, it may even feel silly or impossible but everything in life is merely a "practice" so just keep at it.

I see you...
