Few have pushed civil rights the distance that Dr. King did. There is so much to be said of this humanitarian ambassador. A video of one of Dr. King's most profound speeches is included. The video speaks about mindset and manipulation during war, poverty and oppression.
Dr. King is known for being a non-violent civil rights leader but he always blew the country away with his words of fire. He was far from a coward and spoke the truth during a time when people who looked like him would hung, tarred and feathered or much worse for speaking against the flow of the oppressor.
Some of his fireball phrases include:
" In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends..."
"Let no man pull you low enough to hate him"
"When you are right, you cannot be too radical, when you are wrong, you cannot be too conservative"
" I submit to you that if a man has not discovered something he would die for, he is not fit to live."
These last two phrases I will share are amongst the greatest Dr. King ever spoke if one chose to align his phrases most effectively:
" Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor, it must be demanded by the oppressed..."
and
" An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."
Dr. King's mother was a school teacher who taught her son to read before he started school.
His love for education pushed him to where many who truly love education end up after higher education reveals to them the ways of the world and that is into the dedication and affinity of humanitarianism.
Dr. King spent his life trying to educate and help people to understand that the non-free state in which we live requires our attention and action.
In his early years, Dr. King saw flaws in Christianity but later affirmed that subscribing to such a memetic might be the only vice through which he can reach masses of people as most the entire United States subscribes to the religion.
Dr. King was assassinated but his fireball words and beliefs hover over the entire world as a fruit bearing tree dropping nurturing gifts of knowledge onto the "oppressed" as well as the "oppressors."
