Daily thought: fear and its results

Fear is created when we visualize the self being affected negatively by a result. Fear is a form of imprisonment of the mind. A short relevant video is included within this article. The video is mostly about those things that fear creates.

The name of the video is Free Your Mind by En Vogue and is included within this article.

In the best case scenario, when we picture the self being affected by the possibility of a negative result, we make positive changes internally as a measure to influence a positive outcome.

In the worst case scenario, when we picture the self being affected by the possibility of a negative result, we attempt to control the external environment as a measure to influence a positive outcome.

Life experience seems to reflect that our focus should always be changing only what we can actually control…our way of thinking, responding and acting.

Through examination of life happenings, it seems that whenever fear motivates one to make changes, fear promotes the usage of external methods to make change;

External methods of change almost always have a negative effect or impact on others, if not the self as well.

The way we perceive a situation can create a fear. Thus, changing ones perception of situations is a vital tool.

Fear creates and promotes all of the following:

Bias

Racism

Hate

Poverty

Greed

Injustice

Gentrification

Imbalance

Stagnation

Abandonment

Lies

Separation

Isolation

Oppression

Genocide

Mental disability

Physical disability

Ignorance

And much more.

There is much more to be said on the topic of fear and it will be addressed again in numerous articles to follow. Share your thought and/or opinion below.
