Fasting is more than just starving yourself, when you fast, your body actually goes into a strange preservation mode and starts eliminating all toxins and/or excess junk.
If you can fast for about a week, you would be amazed at the way your skin looks thereafter as your body will literally eat back all the pimples and anything with a scab.
As with anything you change, incorporate or modify in your life, research the details and seek professional guidance where needed as fasting can mean a fast break down of organ systems if you are not educated on how to safely maintain your body void of solid foods.
Fasting always brings the individual to a heightened state of awareness and is associated with a high level of spirituality.
