Daily thought: BHM-Beauty of Blackness

The beauty of Blackness is sometimes masked in oppression. In November 2012, I dedicated one week to the, "Beauty of Blackness" and each day focused on one component of Black beauty.

In honor of Black History Month, I give to you the Beauty of Blackness and ask that you turn your attention to the 7 following articles:

1.Daily thought: beauty

2. Daily thought: Black hair

3. Daily thought: Black contribution to culture- Music

4. Daily thought: building America

5. Daily thought: acceptance and empathy

6. Daily thought: Bantu-knots

7. Daily thought: pyramid mimic in Sacramento

As mentioned, each article was in recognition of a beautiful aspect of Black people and culture. Such recognition focused on internal as well as external beauty.

We honor the beauty of Blackness this Black History Month and forever more.
