Daily herb tip: cayenne for influenza

Cayenne, a stimulant, is very warming to the system making it beneficial to the heart and circulation, and is considered an all-around useful first-aid remedy, especially for arthritis.  Add cayenne to soup or orange juice for treating influenza to help increase the flow of mucus and relieve congestion.
