Daffodils in January

Daffodils in January

Daffodils in January may fully be enjoyed indoors.

The best place they thrive is in the full light of day.

Daffodils are a unique flower, they announce brightness to any given spot. They arrive in different colors, the most classic of them all is the popular yellow. The best location is in a bright window where there is a full amount of sunshine that will allow the plant to wake up its bud to flowers. To keep a bloom the soil should be kept moist and not allowing it to dry out.

They can be grown in a glass container or a regular flower pot. A glass container will allow all of material shown from the soil, to the roots, the long green stems and then the flowers to be on display.

After the bloom of the flower it can be discarded to give the plant life more nutrients to continue producing blooms. It is possible to have flowers in bloom in January indoors in El Paso.  There are stores to visit that have bulbs to initate growing or stores with florists that have the plant already planted as a plant to take home and enjoy.
