Dads will be celebrated on June 15th this year, and families always want a family-friendly outing to honor Dad on his special day. Sarasota has some great choices this year to celebrate Father's Day with activities that are unique to the community.

*Father's Day at the Children's Garden is honoring dads with half-price admission with a child's full price admission. Dads can participate in a special scavenger hunt in the garden with clues to find the hidden objects. Found clues may be redeemed for a free cold drink. *Father's Day Orienteering Workshop at Oscar Scherer State Park offers dads the opportunity to practice or learn basic skills with using a compass. Bring the family and your compass for a great day outdoors. Both beginning and higher level skilled users are welcome to participate. Preregistration is required. *Father's Day at Sarasota Jungle Gardens will honor dads with free admission with purchase of a full-price admission for children. Come out to this Sarasota iconic family-friendly garden and feed the flamingos while walking through the beautiful garden areas. You can even hold a snake on your special day.
