A dad disowns his daughter after she disowns her gay son, and while some may not agree with airing dirty laundry online, the family dispute has now gone viral, UPI reported on Oct. 3.
In a letter that has now become known as “dad disowns daughter,” a father’s letter to his adult daughter has gone viral after it was published by the online gay marketplace FCKH8.com.
The family dispute began after the mom apparently kicked her gay son out of their home, the Inquisitr reported. The son’s grandfather then took matters into his own hands, disowning his daughter over her hateful reaction in a letter that was posted to the Facebook site of FCKH8.
In the letter, the dad, who currently remains unnamed, takes his daughter to task for kicking out her son, Chad, after he revealed that he was gay. Turning the tables on her, the dad disowns his daughter in the letter, stating, “So, while we are in the business of disowning our children, I think I’ll take this moment to say goodbye to you.”
The dad who disowns his daughter holds no punches as he tears into her with his hand-scrawled note. He calls her a “B-word” daughter, “narrow-mind,” “hurtful” and “backward” for her reaction to her gay son.
And as the dad disowns his daughter, he tells her that he will embrace Chad, writing that he has a “fabulous” grandson to raise.
Some details remain unclear over the “dad disowns daughter” letter, but as with most things that go viral, more information will probably be revealed soon, such as who the family actually is and their ages.
Meantime, a FCKH8 spokesperson confirmed that the “dad disowns daughter” letter is legitimate. FCKH8’s Facebook page says that they were sent the letter by Chad and that they are sending him a free "Some Dudes Marry Dudes Get Over It" T-shirt.
