Andrea: “Time has come for you to go out on your own, to become a maestro. Let your work speak for what you believe and love. Soar, my boy. Be bold and fearless, and the world will never forget you.”

It's a party in Otranto! The gang is mostly back together again. What's surprising is Lucrezia reveals the truth about Sixtus. If anything, I expected her to come clean to Leo, but not to announce that Sixtus is a fraud in front of a bunch of people including Sixtus. This will definitely be something to watch next season because Lorenzo already has doubts. It will not be an easy thing to prove. Lucrezia's and Leo's conversation at her cell is fantastic because Lucrezia gets to talk more about why she did what she did - it was all for her sister. Their reunion is sadly cut short. It seems like we will never see our lovebirds together for more than an episode. Do you think that Lorenzo will continue to search for answers about Sixtus next season?
Riario is not doing very well. He is chained up wearing some terrifying looking mask. The Enemies of Man keep talking to him asking him how many people are in the room. Somehow the answer is one. I don't understand. Riario always seems to be aligned with the most interesting people. Maybe this new alliance will cause him and Leo to go head to head in search of the Book of Leaves once again. What is interesting is that the guy says they want to destroy the Book of Leaves. The Turk talks about how the Enemies of Man will use the book as a weapon. What do you think the Enemies of Man want with the book?
It's a boy! Nico steps up and decides he knows what is best for Vanessa and her child. I'm surprised Vanessa covered for him at the end. I would have smacked him. Then again, Vanessa did just become the head of Florence. Clarice leaving is weird. There is a very softly spoken conversation (I had to watch it twice) where Clarice says they do what they do for Florence. Either she thinks her leaving is what is best for the city or maybe she is leaving to go do something. Do you support Nico and Clarice's decisions?
So the oracle woman who questioned Lucrezia is actually Leo's mother. There are no words. We are kinda given answers about her. Bayezid's father views her as trustworthy, but it is still unclear why she ended up in the Ottoman Empire. She is a huge mystery right now. Maybe the Book of Leaves provides her with the tools and knowledge to see the things she does. What do you think of the twist that she is Leo’s mom?
