Whether you say Chowdah or Chowda, the creamy goodness of a chowdah is a seafood lover's dream. Chowdah Fest 2014 is the competition to find the best chowder in the Midwest. The best lobster roll restaurant, Da. Lobsta, will be competing this year.
The 2014 Chowdah Fest will feature a total of 14 competitors battling it out in the competition. Each entrant will summit its best New England Clam Chowda. One entrant will be crowned Best Chowder.

There will be three professional judges including Chef/Author Ina Pinkney, former Blackbird Restaurant mixologist Lynn M. House, and Jimmy Bannos Sr. Also, attendees can vote in the Fan Favorite category.
Chowdah Fest will be held March 31 at Columbia Yacht Club of Chicago. This year's event begins at 6.30 p.m. The cost is $55 per person. All proceeds from the event go toward youth sailing programs in the city. For more information on the event or to buy tickets, go here.
