The total dollar amount ordered by the jury for Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, in this civil suit is a whopping $6.4 million, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Back in 2007, Harris and Stevens got into an argument at a Halloween party in an Atlanta nightclub which turned violent.

Stevens, the former Falcons’ cheerleader, was a waitress at the nightclub at the time of the attack. During her argument with Harris, Stevens turned to get her manager, when “ Da Brat smashed her in the face with a rum bottle,” according to TMZ.

Bloodied and seriously injured, Stevens was transported to the hospital immediately after taking that rum bottle to the face.

Harris, 39, has already served three years in Arrendale State Prison and is still on probation after pleading guilty to aggravated assault.

The civil suit against her filed by Stephens came afterwards.

She has a brain injury and is a brain injury survivor,” said Mark Link, an attorney for Stevens.

“It’s not something that will ever go away. She has a scar on her face. She had so much going for her and for it come to an abrupt stop because of this attack.”

Regarding the $6.4 million in damages the jury ordered Harris to pay Stevens, Harris said Stevens “better get in line because she can’t afford to pay this kind of money,” according to Softpedia News.
