Cynthia Bailey is already looking forward to season seven of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." In her Bravo blog entry, posted on Monday, May 5, Cynthia gave a hint of what her storyline for the new season will be - her becoming her own woman and finally getting to know the other housewives better now that she is no longer friends with NeNe Leakes, who will do all she can to sabotage things.
When asked about the season's low point for her, Cynthia said that the demise of her friendship with NeNe obviously takes the cake. However, out of that relationship's demise she sees a silver lining. She believes that she'll now finally become closer to some of the other Atlanta housewives. "I've never gotten that close to the other girls on the show, and now that I'm not best buds with NeNe, some of the other ladies will be more open and I'll be more open to getting to know them," she said.
Cynthia also said that she's assuming that her friendship with NeNe is completely done. Cynthia doesn't believe that she did anything wrong nor does she believe that NeNe will ever apologize for anything, which means that the two won't be able to come to a middle ground.
As for which of the other Atlanta housewives Cynthia is particularly looking forward to get to know better, some of the show's fans may assume that it's Kenya Moore. After all, Cynthia did publicly come out on Kenya's side after Porsha Stewart attacked her at the reunion, saying that she doesn't ever condone violence, and Kenya is NeNe's enemy number one. Cynthia also recently revealed that Kenya reached out to her after her falling out with NeNe.
Cynthia, however, was quick to note that she isn't automatically becoming Kenya Moore's BFF. Cynthia pointed out that she's just getting to know Kenya and that just because she's not on NeNe's team anymore doesn't automatically mean that she's on Kenya's team. Cynthia also wrote that no matter who she gets close to, she knows that NeNe won't make it easy but that she's up for the challenge.
As for what NeNe Leakes thinks of all this, she maintains that she's not giving Cynthia Bailey a second thought. She recently wrote that Cynthia, whom she dubbed a "flip-flopper," better think again if she thinks that the demise of their friendship will be her storyline for the next season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
