Cynthia Bailey wants to 'empower young girls' with pageants

Cynthia Bailey is excited about the opportunity to organize pageants. Speaking out Wednesday, Bailey says doing this line of work is positive and will hopefully empower young girls.

"I was delighted to learn that not only would this be another positive vehicle to empower young girls, it could also be a lucrative business move for my school. I love connecting with individuals who share my passion and commitment to uplift and inspire young people," Bailey shared Wednesday.

As seen on Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Cynthia Bailey met with Cyrus Frakes ("King of the Crown," TLC), who showed her the ins and outs of pageants. They discussed everything from finding the right venue to fees and revenue associated with the business.

Beyond it being a way for her to increase revenue via her organization, The Bailey Agency, Cynthia Bailey hopes it will help young girls with confidence.

"In life, it is important to not be afraid to put yourself out there, win or lose. It is all about the spirit of challenging yourself to be open to realizing your highest potential," says Bailey.

Expect to see more of Cynthia Bailey's pageant planning process on the next episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," which airs Sunday, Feb. 10 on Bravo.
