Unfortunately for NeNe Leakes, it does seem that the demise of her friendship with Cynthia Bailey and possible reconciliation may indeed be a big storyline for season seven of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," if she chooses to return that is. On Wednesday, May 28, RumorFix reported that Cynthia and her husband Peter Thomas will indeed be in the new season. A statement released by Peter indicates he and his wife are ready to fight with the queen bee of the Atlanta housewives.

Peter told RumorFix that the rumors of him and Cynthia being dropped from the show are false and that they are definitely returning for another season. He then took the opportunity to slam NeNe, implying that while they're real, she's fake and egotistical, and that they're ready to do battle with her. "Our s**t is REAL, NeNe don’t run s**t. She is an employee just like we are, [she] turned out to be a real fake friend. We are ready for season seven. Let’s go!” Peter said.

Peter's strong criticism of NeNe is the result of NeNe going on "Watch What Happens Live" and telling Andy Cohen and the "Real Housewives" viewers that Cynthia should be fired from the show because she brings nothing to the table. Ever since she did that interview, Cynthia has been quick to remind everyone that NeNe is not a show producer or executive but rather talent just like everyone else so she has no say on who gets to stay and who gets dropped.

While Peter and Cynthia will definitely be back, it remains to be seen whether NeNe will subject herself to filming with them. In an interview with Life & Style magazine, posted on Thursday, May 29, NeNe revealed that everyone has been invited back, which means that viewers will likely get to see, in addition to Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, and Kandi Burruss holding the peach again, if they all agree to come back.

However, NeNe herself isn't sure she'll come back because she found last season "very dark and toxic," with "a lot of negativity." One thing that she's sure of is that she won't go through that again unless she gets more money. She said that she plans on asking for more money, on top of the $1 million per season that she already gets.

At least NeNe Leakes doesn't think of herself as being special in this regard. She said that all of the housewives of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" deserve a raise.
