It appears that no one does anything for free in Atlanta. Despite having a brief talk about it, Cynthia Bailey quickly shut down the idea of Phaedra Parks having auditions for her fitness DVD at Cynthia’s modeling school, because Phaedra thought she could do it without actually paying for it. And now, according to a new Bravo blog released on Jan. 23, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey explains why she shut the idea down after she discovered that Phaedra had invited hundreds of people to the Bailey Agency in Atlanta – without paying for it.
“The possibility of The Bailey Agency doing the casting for the video did come up in casual conversation at my PT Moscato launch party at Bar One, but there were never any serious discussions or meetings with me to move forward from Kenya or Phaedra,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey explains in her own defense. “I assumed that the dynamic duo had decided to do the casting themselves or used another company. So when my staff brought it to my attention that Phaedra had sent out a tweet saying that there was a donkey booty casting at The Bailey Agency, I shut it down immediately. I would never assume that I was entitled to a free service of any kind from any of the ladies’ businesses and will always expect the same in return.”
All of the cast members can agree that any service or business should be paid for, even though they are friends. So, when “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey learned of the tweet, she shut it down because no payment was in place and Phaedra hadn’t offered a contract. Do you think Phaedra had misunderstood, or do you think she wanted the work for free?
