Next Magazine posted an interview today with Cyndi Lauper where she held nothing back about her reality show boss Donald Trump. The pop star is currently promoting the Broadway debut of her hit musical “Kinky Boots.” Lauper was a contestant in 2010 on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice."
When asked about her former television boss the pint-sized singer stated, “It’s just sad. I thought he could have done better for his country than [to] just go to the lowest common denominator and stir up the crap.”
Lauper then added, “First off you’re an entertainer, and you make ugly buildings, and you’re famous for it.”
Cyndi finished her thoughts on the world’s most famous Birther by saying, “Our country is in trouble and he keeps wanting to make [Obama] fail. Let’s call a spade a spade. The guy’s a black man and that’s your issue? What kind of idiot are you? Come on.”
Donald Trump has uncharacteristically not responded to Lauper’s comments.
