Cyndi Lauper's first album, She's So Unusual, is celebrating thirty years of being released. Yes, 3-0. Another artist enjoying the same longevity is Madonna, whose first album charted in 1983.
She's So Unusual went to sell close to twenty million copies worldwide and spawned the single "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", "She Bop", "Time After Time", amongst others.
The tour began in the summer, covering Australia and North America. Washington DC will welcome her on November 13th, at the Warner Theatre.
