"Love & Hip Hop" star Cyn Santana is best known as Erica Mena's girlfriend on the hit VH1 show. On March 27, Wetpaint revelead that there is more to the story with Cyn Santana than was revealed on camera and it is tragic.

Cyn Santana has been going through some family issues that the cameras of VH1 hit series "Love & Hip Hop" seemed to leave out. Sadly, Cyn lost her brother to suicide this past November and she is still grieving the loss.

Santana took to Instagram and posted a picture of her late brother. The picture was captioned:

Can't believe it's been 4 months since you left us physically. This is a wound that time will never heal. You have never been more alive. Alive in my heart. We love you so much. Keep watching over us. You're our angel.

During season 4 of "Love & Hip Hop," Cyn Santana made quite a splash as the girlfriend of recording artist Erica Mena. She was part of the notorious love triangle that also included Erica Mena's on-again off-again boyfriend Rich Dollaz. Time and again throughout the season, Santana found out about and forgave Erica for cheating with Dollaz.

It is unknown if Santana will be a part of "Love & Hip Hop" season 5. If so, there is a good possibility that they will talk about the death of her brother and play up Santana's new mission to honor her brother's memory.
