"Coming: When it's ready"
That's the expected (and official, mind you) release window for the new title Cyberpunk 2077 just announced earlier today by CDProjekt, the folks behind The Witcher and The Witcher 2. Mad respect already, right?
What's more, they haven't filled their launch trailer with the charismatic dubstep "WUB WUB WUB"'s we've come to expect from futuristic shooters nowadays (looking at you, Call of Duty). Although in all likelihood, based on the team's track record, Cyberpunk 2077 will probably follow the RPG route more than the shooter.
Or maybe it'll be an even mix of both, like something along the lines of the cult classic System Shock. Either way, this is something to get excited about. The gorgeous CG trailer prepared for us today is a glory to behold and sets our imaginations ablaze. All we can do now is sit back, relax, and await further information to unfold.
