CD Project Red has posted numerous job openings for game development. According to a report by Nintendo Enthusiast on Aug. 14, the new positions are mostly geared towards “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” The company is also hiring for their new intellectual property, “Cyberpunk 2077.”
CD Project Red is looking to add 26 staff members to the development team responsible for the production of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” The sequel to “The Witcher” and “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” is the most ambition project from the company to date. The forthcoming video game is being built on a new graphics engine to take advantage of the PS4 and Xbox One next-generation systems. It also includes several open-world elements like the ability to travel to any point of the massive game region.
The company is also sending fliers out for eight employees to add to the development of “Cyberpunk 2077.” The upcoming title takes place in a science-fiction setting. Not much else in known about the new intellectual property.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will be released in 2014 while “Cyberpunk 2077” is expected to come out the following year. Both games are being developed for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
