- Know where your child has accounts online and what those accounts are.
- Know how to use the tools on each of these sites to see what is being said by and about your child.
- Know where to report cyberbullying if it happens, and do so quickly.
- Quickly delete malicious content.
- Time is of the essence; when children say they are harassed online, have them show you where and how.
