The CW has announced that yet another DC comic will be made into a television show in the next season and they are jumping on this trend as well. They are planning on putting "iZombie" into production for the fall.

The Veronica Mars film writer, Rob Thomas is reuniting with the film’s co-writer Diane Ruggiero for this new zombie police procedural. The story is going to be based on created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred for DC's Vertigo.

The story is about a young girl who is a medical student but is also a zombie. she needs to eat brains in order to live so she begins working in a morgue where she has access to these. But, there is a negative reaction to this key to humanity, for each brain she consumes, she also consumes their memories. she then helps with murders in the area.

There is a police detective and coroner to help her with keeping her sanity.

DC has several television shows coming up next season including "Constantine", "Gotham" and "Flash"

So, do you think that "iZombie" will be successful on The CW? It appears that shows like "Arrow". "Supernatural", "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" have proven that the fans are already on that channel. But, will zombies be able to break into the CW audience?
