March 5, 2011 - The long awaited extended preview for the next episode of The Vampire Diares, Know Thy Enemy, has finally been released by the CW Network.
The clip shows a few new scenes featuring Katherine (Nina Dobrev) going vamp on someone, as well as new footage of Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) and Matt (Zach Roerig).
It looks as if Matt did not take Caroline's (Candice Accola)'s confession she's a vampire very well, and is freaking out that his sister was killed by one of them.
No new 'Vampire Diaries' episodes until return from hiatus on April 7
In another scene, Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Tyler (Steven R. McQueen) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) walk towards, and then into, an old abandoned house in the woods.
Once they go in Damon has a smirk on his face while the other two are looking more concerned. Could this be the original Gilbert house?
Other good scenes in the trailer include a great one of Alaric (Matt Davis) punching Uncle John (Dave Anders) and one of Damon and Bonnie simultaneously screaming while holding their heads. Are they being affected by some kind of witch's curse...?

When Bonnie screams she also drops an old book she was reading, which would indicate they went into the house to uncover more research on vampires and/or Klaus.
Hopefully, this episode will also give more info as to what Isobel is up to and what side she's on, as well as where she stands on the Klaus issue.
