½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature

2 cups sifted confectioners sugar

1 cup of toffee candy bits

1 ½ lbs of semisweet chocolate

4 tablespoons of vegetable shortening

3 cups of CVS Gold Emblem Peanut Butter Pretzel Nuggets (crushed)

1 cup of peanut butter

1 cup of chocolate sprinkles for coating

In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar on medium until light and fluffy. Beat in peanut butter. Add crushed peanut butter pretzel nuggets and toffee.

Cover and refrigerate the mix for 2-3 hours. Using a teaspoon take a heaping spoonful and roll into a ball. Place on parchment paper line baking sheet and refrigerate again for 30 minutes.

Take your semisweet chocolate and melt with with vegetable shortening. Don't let it scorch! Stir until smooth.

Quickly dip the bonbons into your melted chocolate. Work quickly so your melted chocolate doesn't get stiff. Either rest your covered bonbon on a fork so the excess chocolate melts away or place on parchment paper. Before the chocolate completely dries roll around in the chocolate sprinkles.
