The iTunes App Store website has confirmed the release of a new game on iOS platforms. That game is “Cut the Rope: Time Travel,” and it was released on April 18, 2013. This game is designed by the company Zeptolab. This is the third title in the “Cut the Rope” series, and brings with it familiar gameplay as well as new tricks. This game is also available on Android devices.

“Cut the Rope: Time Travel” plays similarly to the previous games in the series. The game is a puzzle title, where the goal is to feed a small green creature (named Om Nom) the candy that is hanging from a rope in the stage. As the name implies, the player must cut the ropes to get the candy to the creature. If the candy comes in contact with another rope, the new rope will attach to the candy, forcing the player to cut that rope as well. The player can also collect 3 stars in each level. These stars usually require the player to go out of their way to get them, and they add a lot of challenge to the game (particularly in the later levels). These stars must be collected to unlock new stages. The player also has various traps and other tricks that they must avoid in the levels, more of which are introduced as the player progresses. This new title in the series brings a large number of brand new levels and they will require the player to learn new tricks and strategies to complete them. This new game also adds a second creature to each level, which adds even more complexity to the levels.
