One of the principal sources of government dysfunction and unresponsiveness to the American people is the twerp from Kentucky who claims that he is doing what his constituents want. If he is correct, the first cuts within the bounds of President Obama's sequester powers should be to slice through Kentucky like a hot knife through butter.
Kentucky needs to pay for their mistake, giving to America the most disliked Senator who is a representative of the state of Kenkochy not Kentucky.
Yes we need to cut spending and we have. Yet, government is not performing so long as there is poverty in America and people cannot find work. That is happening as tax loopholes continue for wealthy as they avoid contributing to needed revenue.
"McConnell: We 'promised' the American people cuts

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday the GOP was determined to keep $1.2 trillion in spending cuts over the next decade in place.
"I'm absolutely confident we're going to reduce spending the amount of money we promised the American people we would in a law the president signed a year and a half ago," McConnell said on CNN's "State of the Union." "We said we're open to discussing how to reconfigure those spending reductions without raising taxes."
The Kentucky Republican also claimed there was no interest among his Senate colleagues in using tax increases to avert the spending cuts.
"So far I haven't heard a single Senate Republican say they would be willing to raise a dime in taxes to turn off the sequester," he said."
