Custo Barcelona showed the Fall 2011 collection on Sunday night, to an energized audience waiting to see what was going to walk down the runway. The collection began with a pure palette of neutral colors ecrus, pale pinks, and beiges. Yet true to Custo's image, colorful patterned prints made their way into the mix.
Knited fringe dresses and animal print metallics were delightful. Dresses were paired with weaved leggings and wild knit boots. Oversized wool sweaters warmed up the men's collection that also walked the runway. The graphic prints layer upon layer was like looking at pieces of art. If one was to deconstructe many of the pieces, each would compliment a simple pencil skirt or a pair of skinny dark wash denim perfectly. The collection was complete with a mix of extravegant artistic creativity and bold style.
