With the convenience of spell check only a computer click away, it seems the need to learn to spell is becoming less significant. However, there are still those venues and places on the small screen where students indulge in a challenging and quirky match of wits – the spelling bee!
Brushing on vocabulary takes on a whole new, amusing meaning as Braintree’s Curtain Call Theatre presents ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!’ It is musical comedies about a group of students striving to not only win a spelling bee, but to find their place in the world. Directed by Toni Ruscio, musically directed by Brett Hinkel, with choreography by Lisa Kelleher, see 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' for two weekends only!

All performances will be held at Curtain Call Theatre, 182 Commercial Street in Braintree, Massachusetts on Friday, November 1, Saturday, November 2, Thursday, November 7, Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9 at 8 p.m. A Sunday matinee performance will take place on Sunday, November 3 at 2 p.m.
