Spoiled today Oct. 17, 2013 in a post to Instagram, Curse of the Forsaken is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards revealed from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming multiplayer product "Commander (2013 Edition)." This uncommon white enchantment can help take some pressure off your back by giving your rivals an incentive to attack another one of your opponents instead.
Curse of the Forsaken - 2W
Enchantment - Aura Curse (Uncommon)
Whenever a creature attacks enchanted player, its controller gains 1 life.
"Purge the damned, for they have no place among the righteous!"
-Seeta of Thraben
Curse of the Forsaken may not look as attractive an option compared to Curse of Predation, however there's still a lot of neat things you can do with it. If you gained at least four life you'll be able to make a 4/4 Angel creature token with flying with Angelic Accord.
Unlike Path of Bravery, Curse of the Forsaken triggers separately each time one of your creatures attacks, that a lot of potential instances of Archangel of Thune you'll be able to activate before your creatures even deal damage. Ajani's Pridemate will also grow fast too. Want to gain some card advantage? A Drogskol Reaver will allow you to quickly blow through your library and Vizkopa Guildmage will make all of your opponents lose the same amount of life that you gained.
