Featured in the "Mind Seize" deck from "Commander (2013 Edition)," Curse of Chaos is a new red uncommon enchantment "Magic: The Gathering" card that can help bribe your opponents into attacking one of your other rivals instead of you.
Curse of Chaos - 2R
Enchantment - Aura Curse (Uncommon)
Whenever a player attacks enchanted player with one or more creatures, that attacking player may discard a card. If the player does, he or she draws a card.
"Let them cry for mercy. The only one who can hear them is me."
-Siglind the Conqueror
As with the other curses we've seen such as Curse of Predation and Curse of the Forsaken, Curse of Chaos gives your enemies an incentive to pursue another adversary. Unlike the aforementioned cards though, Curse of Chaos only triggers once per combat step. This makes it much harder to abuse, however there's still a few ways for you to build your deck around it so that you gain a larger advantage than the other players in the game do.
The most obvious use of the looting effect is to transform dead lands into business spells. Another idea is to put creatures into your graveyard to be reanimated, or simply just dig one card closer into your deck for a vital combo piece in order to win the entire game instantly. Although Curse of Chaos gives an incentive to your foes to aggress another player, it can come back around to bite you in the buttocks. Your foes may end up coming ahead, and use their card advantage against you.
How will you use Curse of Chaos?
