News headlines from around the world are suggesting that the tribulation hour as at hand, as each one of these headlines is pointing to prophecy that is soon to be fulfilled in the book of Revelation.
First off, the World Health Organization is admitting that Ebola is becoming too much to handle. "It is deteriorating faster, and moving faster than we can respond to," Doctor's Without Borders chief Joanne Liu says. She also seems to think that it could take six months to get a grip on the growing epidemic. There are alarming fears that the number of reported cases and deaths were greatly underestimated. Currently the World Health Organization is creating a massive scaling up of resources and personnel as a global response to the epidemic.
Fears are increasing, that the Ebola virus could also cause an economic disaster in Nigeria, as a serious outbreak could disrupt the nation's oil and gas industry. International workers would be forced to evacuate staff and shut down operations.
Revelation 6:5-6,is the third seal, scarcity on earth, an economic collapse. When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarious, and three quarts of barley for a denarious; and so not harm the oil and wine."
Revelation 6:7-8, is the fourth seal, widespread death upon the earth. When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see." So I looked and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
But there are even more headlines pointing to the fact that the tribulation hour is about to begin.
ISIS, the terrorist group taking over and running rampant in Iraq has reportedly massacred 80 more Yasidis in Northern Iraq. "They arrived in vehicles and started their killings this afternoon." a senior Kurdish official said. "We believe it is because of their creed: convert or be killed."
Ironically another similar headline came out today, but this time it took place in the United States, involving our government officials. In Texas the drug used to execute prisoners has risen in price up to $1,500 per vile. The state is concerned about how they will continue to afford this execution drug, as the price is expected to rise. The cause they say, is due to the backlash against this type of punishment after two recent executions were botched causing the prisoners to die slow, and painful deaths. As people began to protest more and more, drug manufacturers stopped selling the drug, causing the existing providers to jack up their prices, due to supply and demand. Texas has Ten more prisoners to execute this year, and they say they have enough on hand till years end, but after that, they don't know if the drug can still be afforded by the state, leaving US lawmakers suggesting that the guillotine would make a cheaper and less painful alternative when it comes to the death penalty. Even though death by beheading is in the process of fruition, and not yet intended for Christians, we can be sure it is headed in that direction.
Revelation 6:9-11, the fifth seal: The Cry of the Martyrs. When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
The headlines are speaking for themselves, that the tribulation hour and God's judgment is about to begin. All that is being talked about these days in the media, was also mentioned in the Bible, as end time prophecy events in the book of Revelation. Jesus promised in Revelation 3:10 to save those from the hour of trial and from God's wrath who have repented and turned away from their sins, accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Time is running out, so get ready for what is to come, by asking Jesus into your heart today!
