Cure for heart disease found

The cure for heart disease did not stem from a petri dish.

After decades of research and epidemiological studies, scientists have found a cure for atherosclerosis, a common disease of the heart.

This cure would eliminate the need for nearly half a million bypass surgeries every year, saving the health care system billions of dollars and spare each heart patient countless hours of pain and discomfort.

This cure that the medical community has outlined is simple, but one that most will not swallow. This almost infallible cure will not only open up blockages in your arteries, but it will cause you to lose weight, to reduce your blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and to bring your cholesterol levels to normal levels -- most likely without medication or with less than you take now.

Researchers have found that the human body does not handle animal foods well, and that breaking them down and storing them as fat causes disease. To reverse your heart disease, 90% of your food needs to come from plants, such as vegetables, fruits, beans, whole-grains, and nuts.* The research is not definitive that you need to eat 100% plant foods, but certainly 90% is a minimum.

That's it. Plant-foods rather than animal foods. In his book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, says that if it has (had) a "face or a mother" do not eat it. It's really very simple.

What's it worth to you to be free of heart disease?
