Cupids and critters headline zoo parties

Lincoln Park Zoo is hosting mixers with Cupid and critters at Valentines parties for kids and adults.

Grown-ups can feast with exotic felines during an exclusive breakfast event in the beautiful and historic Kovler Lion House

During this distinctive dining experience, guests will  learn fascinating tidbits and hear wild stories about lions, tigers, leopards and other cats. The morning is the most active time of the day for the big and small cats. A zoo expert will be on hand to answer questions and explain some of the animals’ wild behavior.

The breakfast is 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14. Cost is $75 per person ($65 for zoo members).

First through third-graders can spend the Feb. 11  teacher in-service day making Valentines for the Animals. During Valentines for the Animals, kids will make valentines for their favorite animal and have an opportunity to meet some of the zoo’s animal ambassadors up close and personal.
