Cupcake Camp Miami 2014

On November 3rd, 2010 over 120 guests gathered at Cafeina Lounge in Wynwood to experienced the first event of its kind: a cupcake tasting event featuring 16 local bakers, all coming together to raise money for charity. That event boasted over 1000 cupcakes and over $1600 raised for charity. It has been three long years since the last event, but it is never too late for cupcakes. The goal of the event is to bring cupcake lovers together, whether they are the makers or eaters of those cupcakes, and to eat cupcakes in the name of a good cause.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 2013 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at World of Beer-Midtown. The event is being organized by the Miami Baking Examiner (or her alter ego, The Cookie Runner) and will benefit Give Kids The World Village. The event will once again feature a silent auction with items donated from local businesses.

Tickets for the event are $10.00 ($11.54 with Eventbrite fees) and can be purchased here. For more information on the event, visit Cupcake Camp Miami 2014's Facebook page.
