If you've been waiting to book your 2012 or 2013 Cunard cruise, you won't have to wait much longer -- the luxury cruise line opens reservations for the 2012-2013 season this coming Monday, April 4, 2011 at 3PM Eastern Time.
Royal Rendezvous 2012
On June 5, 2012, all three Cunard ships will meet in Southampton, England, to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen. Cunard's Royal Rendezvous always generate a lot of excitement, and, all three ships usually sell-out or come close to selling out for the event. It's advised you book early to secure your first choice cabin. The highlight of the Royal Rendezvous is the fireworks display to send all three ships off on their selected voyages.
Queen Mary 2
QM2 will offer 19 seven-day Transatlantic voyages between New York and Southampton, plus, six nine-day extended Crossings between New York and Hamburg. Additionally, QM2 will offer Baltic, Norway and the North Cape, the Atlantic Isles, Iberia and Mediterranean sailings in 2012.
Queen Mary 2 returns to NYC for its annual 4th of July sailing, and, will also offer two New England/Canada sailings (including one featuring overnight in Quebec), and, QM2 rounds out its 2012 season with its annual Holiday sailing from NYC to the Caribbean.
Queen Elizabeth
The new Queen Elizabeth will offer fall Mediterranean sailings that begin and end in Athens, Venice or Rome. There will be eight unique itineraries in the Mediterranean in total.
Additionally, there will be two voyages to the Holy Land – including calls in Jerusalem, Galilee and Alexandria – as well as more voyages to the Greek Isles and Black Sea including: three 12-day Greek Isles voyages between Athens and Venice, and one 12-day Greek Isles voyage roundtrip Athens. Plus Queen Elizabeth will offer one 12-day Black Sea sailing. Prior to those sailings, Queen Elizabeth also takes guests on a series of voyages roundtrip from Southampton to Norway, the Baltic and offer her second circumnavigation of the British Isles.
In early 2013, Queen Elizabeth will showcase a series of legendary voyages that include full transits of the Panama Canal, plus new voyages to the South Pacific and New Zealand – including maiden calls in Hilo, Hawaii; Bora Bora, French Polynesia; and Christchurch, New Zealand. The ship’s South Pacific voyages include: one 15-day voyage from Los Angeles to Auckland; one 21-day from Auckland to Los Angeles; or guests can opt to sail the 36-day roundtrip South Pacific voyage from Los Angeles.
Queen Victoria
Queen Victoria's 2012 schedule includes intineraries to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic Isles and Iberia. An exciting new voyage for Queen Victoria in 2012 is a 20-day voyage to the Black Sea and Turkey that will make maiden calls in Casablanca, Morocco and Constanza, Bulgaria.
Some of Queen Victoria’s returning itinerary favorites include the seven-day Fjords and Waterfalls voyages to Norway, the 14-day St. Petersburg & Baltic Explorer (with an overnight in St. Petersburg), the 17-day Adriatic Discovery and an enhanced Mediterranean Gems itinerary that adds an additional day for a 13-day voyage.
